Designed to Be Seen

The round globe form is a deliberate design statement, not a functional compromise. The exposed LED filament and clear or amber glass are meant to be part of your fixture's aesthetic. In an open pendant or bare shade, this globe becomes an object worth looking at, not just looking from.

Where It Belongs

Hang a globe bulb in an open pendant above a dining table and the light that reaches the room is warm, layered, and alive in a way that recessed lighting never achieves. The glow spreads softly in all directions, catching surfaces and creating depth rather than illuminating from above like a spotlight on a stage. In a wine bar, a boutique hotel room, or a living space designed for evenings in, the globe bulb is what makes the room feel finished. It is the difference between a space that is lit and a space that has atmosphere.

Every Purchase Restores Sight

Dulora is a proud supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation. Every order helps fund cataract surgery and eye care programs across Australia. A simple bulb purchase. A life-changing outcome for someone who has never been able to see clearly.

See the Difference CRI Makes

Standard CRI 80+

Dull, washed-out light

Reds lose their warmth. Skin looks pallid. Artwork loses depth. The room feels lifeless regardless of how many bulbs you use.

Dulora CRI 95+

Exceptional colour rendering

At CRI 95+, colours appear almost exactly as they do in natural daylight. Artwork, food, textiles, and skin tones all look their absolute best. Walk into a room lit at this level and the quality of light is something you feel before you can explain it.

Description

Few bulbs make a room look up the way an oversized clear sphere does, and the Sunset Dim Globe G125 pairs that scale with a bold filament and a warm-down glow. Dimmable, it turns 7.8 watts into 806 lumens of 2700K warm white, the match of a traditional 60W incandescent, and deepens to a rich 1800K amber as you lower it. Ultra-high colour accuracy keeps everything under it reading true, and the E27 Edison screw base fits most standard fittings. Backed by a 3-year warranty.

The Clear Glass Effect

At 125 millimetres across, the clear globe turns its long filament into the main event, glowing warm and golden inside the oversized glass and throwing a little sparkle across the room. A globe this size is meant to be seen, so the clear glass and open filament are the point, shown off in open pendants and bare sockets. Where you would rather a soft, even light with no filament in view, the Porcelain Globe G125 offers the same scale with a gentler glow.

The warm-down keeps a globe this large from ever feeling harsh. Instead of one fixed tone, it slides toward amber as it dims, the light going low and golden like the last of the daylight, so the biggest globe in the range is also one of the easiest to live with. On an LED-compatible dimmer it eases down without a stutter.

Where It Belongs

The clear Globe G125 wants room to make its statement. At home that is high pendants over stairwells and entryways, a single feature fitting above a dining table or island, and double-height spaces where a large warm globe pulls the eye up. In restaurant and bar ceilings, hotel lobbies and lounges, and event and retail spaces it does the same, an oversized filament globe setting the tone. The E27 Edison screw base fits the standard screw sockets found in most pendants and ceiling fittings.

Frequently Asked Questions

How bright are Dulora bulbs?

LED brightness is measured in lumens, not watts. Here's a quick conversion guide:

  • 2-3W LED ≈ 25W incandescent (200-300 lumens)
  • 4-5W LED ≈ 40W incandescent (400-500 lumens)
  • 6-8W LED ≈ 60W incandescent (650-800 lumens)
  • 7.5-10W LED ≈ 75-100W incandescent (900-1200 lumens)
  • 11-12W LED ≈ 100-125W incandescent (1300-1500 lumens)

All Dulora product pages list wattage and lumen output so you can choose the perfect brightness for your needs.

What countries do you ship to?

Dulora bulbs are designed for over 25,000 hours of use. If you use your light for an average of 3 hours per day, your LED bulb could last over 22 years. This exceptional longevity significantly reduces the frequency of replacements compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, which typically last only 1,000-2,000 hours. Note that all LED bulbs' light output gradually decreases over time, a phenomenon known as lumen depreciation.

Are Dulora bulbs dimmable?

Yes, most Dulora bulbs are dimmable, allowing you to create the perfect ambience for any occasion. Look for the "dimmable" specification on the product page. For optimal performance, we recommend using LED-compatible dimmers. Some older dimmer switches may cause flickering or buzzing with LED bulbs. If you experience any issues, please contact our customer support team for assistance.

What is colour temperature, and which should I choose?

Colour temperature refers to the warmth or coolness of light, measured in Kelvins (K):

  • Ultra & Extra Warm (2000K-2200K): This calming light creates a relaxing ambiance, similar to the warm glow of candlelight.
  • This calming light gives off a warm glow, similar to candlelight. However, because it is such a soft light, it may not be suitable for activities that require focus, such as reading.
  • Warm White (2700K-3000K): This colour creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. It is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas.
  • Natural White (3500K-4000K): Provides a balanced, neutral light perfect for kitchens, offices, and workspaces.
  • Cool White (5000K-6500K): This colour delivers a crisp, energising light similar to daylight. It is best for task lighting, garages, and areas requiring detailed visibility.

Choose based on the mood you want to create and the purpose of the space.

Are Dulora bulbs compatible with my existing fixtures?

Dulora offer bulbs in all standard base types, ensuring compatibility with most fixtures. Common bases include:

  • E27/ES: Standard Edison Screw, the most common base type (27mm diameter)
  • B22/BC: Bayonet Cap, standard in many regions (22mm diameter)
  • E14/SES: Small Edison Screw, used in chandeliers and smaller fixtures (14mm diameter)
  • B15/SBC: Small Bayonet Cap, used in smaller fixtures (15mm diameter)
  • E12/SES: Mini Edison Screw, used for chandeliers and small fixtures from the US (12mm diameter)

Check your existing bulb's base type and match it with the corresponding Dulora product. If unsure, take a photo of your current bulb base and contact our customer service team for assistance.

Can Dulora bulbs be used in enclosed fixtures?

Some Dulora bulbs can be used in enclosed fixtures, but not all. Look for the "enclosed fixture compatible" specification on the product page. Enclosed fixtures trap heat, which can shorten LED lifespan if the bulb isn't designed for such applications. Our enclosed fixture-compatible bulbs feature enhanced heat dissipation technology to maintain performance and longevity even in enclosed environments. For fixtures without proper ventilation, we recommend choosing bulbs specifically rated for enclosed use.

What is the difference between clear, frost, opal, and porcelain LED bulbs?
  • Clear LED bulbs have a transparent glass covering that showcases the filament inside, creating a decorative, vintage appearance. They produce more directional light and create beautiful shadow patterns.
  • Frost, opal, and porcelain LED bulbs diffuse light, reducing glare and distributing illumination evenly. These bulbs are ideal for ambient lighting and minimising shadows when fabric or glass shades are used. Frosted bulbs allow good light transmission but with slightly visible LED filaments. Opal and porcelain bulbs provide uniform light diffusion and better LED concealment. Opal bulbs have a shiny finish, while porcelain bulbs have a matte finish.

Choose clear bulbs for decorative fixtures where the bulb is visible and frosted, opal or porcelain bulbs for everyday lighting where comfort and light distribution are priorities.

How much energy do Dulora bulbs save compared to traditional bulbs?

Dulora bulbs use up to 90% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs while providing the same brightness level. For example, a 6.5W GLS LED bulb produces the same light as a 60W incandescent bulb. This significant energy reduction translates to lower electricity bills and a smaller carbon footprint. Over the bulb's lifetime, you can save hundreds of dollars in energy costs per bulb.

What is your warranty policy?

Dulora bulbs come with a comprehensive warranty against manufacturing defects. Most of our products carry a 2-year warranty, while premium lines may offer extended 3 to 5-year coverage. If your product fails during the warranty period under regular use, we'll replace it free of charge. Simply contact our customer service team with your order number and a description of the issue. Our no-quibble guarantee ensures a hassle-free experience if you encounter any problems.
