PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. THEY APPLY WHEN YOU USE OUR WEBSITE AND BUY FROM DULORA.
1. About These Terms
These terms apply when you use dulora.co.uk and when you buy products from us for delivery within the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. They're provided by Dulora Limited ("Dulora", "we" or "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17037260, with its registered office at 60 Tottenham Court Road, Suite 7252a, London W1T 2EW.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms, together with our Shipping details, Returns Policy, Warranty & Faulty Items page and Privacy Policy.
Trade customers buying through our trade portal at dulora.pro are covered by our separate trade terms and conditions, available on that site.
2. Using Our Website
You're welcome to browse our website and buy our products for your own use. All content on the website, including text, images, videos, product names and the Dulora logo, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or commercially use any of it without our written permission.
You agree not to use our website in any unlawful way, or in a way that could damage it or interfere with other people's use of it.
3. Your Account
If you create an account, please keep your login details secure and your information up to date. You're responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our error. We may suspend or close an account if it's used fraudulently or in serious breach of these terms, and we'll tell you why where we reasonably can.
4. Reviews and Submissions
When you post a review, photo or other content on our website, or send it to us, you give us permission to display it on our website and use it in our marketing, without payment. Your content must be genuine, lawful and not offensive. We may remove content that doesn't meet these standards. Any personal information in your content is handled under our Privacy Policy.
5. Product Information
The main characteristics of each product, including its specifications, are shown on its product page. We take care to describe our products accurately. However, colour temperature, brightness, and finish may appear different on screen than in person, and product images are for illustration. Please check product specifications, including base type, voltage and dimmer compatibility, before you order. If you're unsure whether a product is compatible with your fitting or dimmer, contact us before buying.
6. Electrical Safety and Installation
Many lighting products can be installed simply by fitting a bulb into an existing socket. Products that need to be hardwired or connected to fixed wiring should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current wiring regulations. Some electrical work in homes must, by law, be carried out by a registered electrician or notified to building control. Please always follow the product instructions and safety information.
Faults caused by incorrect installation, or by installation that doesn't comply with electrical regulations, aren't covered by our Express Warranty. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
7. Orders
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We'll email you an order confirmation once we've received your order. We accept your order, and a contract is formed when we dispatch your products and email you to confirm.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if a product is unavailable, if there's a genuine error in the price or description, or if we reasonably suspect fraud. If this happens, we'll let you know and refund any payment you've made in full.
8. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay, so you'll always see the total price before you place your order. Payment is taken in full when you place your order, using the payment methods offered at checkout. If you use a buy now, pay later service, that provider's terms also apply to your payment arrangement.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a genuine error, we're not required to supply it at that price. We'll contact you before dispatch to let you choose whether to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
9. Discount Codes, Promotions and Store Credit
Discount codes and promotions are subject to the terms shown with them. Unless stated otherwise, only one discount code can be used per order, and codes can't be exchanged for cash or applied to past orders.
Store credit is added to your Dulora account, doesn't expire, can be used on future orders and can't be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
10. Delivery
We'll deliver to the address you provide at checkout from our UK warehouse. Delivery timeframes shown on our website and at checkout are estimates. Ownership of the products and responsibility for them pass to you on delivery. See our Shipping details for full information.
11. Your Right to Cancel
You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of the date you receive it, without providing a reason. You can also return eligible products under our extended 30-day returns policy. See our Returns Policy for how to cancel, what we'll refund and when.
12. Faulty Products and Your Statutory Rights
We're under a legal duty to supply products that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If a product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, see our Warranty & Faulty Items page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For more information, visit Citizens Advice.
13. Our Responsibility to You
If we fail to comply with these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to take reasonable care. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if both you and we knew it might happen when you placed your order.
We supply products for domestic and private use only. We're not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.
14. Events Outside Our Control
We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, industrial action, carrier disruptions or government restrictions. If an event like this affects your order, we'll let you know, and if we can't fulfil it within a reasonable time, you can cancel for a full refund.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example, to reflect changes in the law or our business. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on our website when you placed it. Changes won't apply to orders already placed.
16. Complaints
If you're unhappy with any part of our service, please contact our team, and we'll work with you to put it right. If we can't resolve your complaint, we'll tell you about any alternative dispute resolution options available, and you can also get free advice from Citizens Advice.
17. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of these terms continue to apply. If we don't enforce a right under these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the English courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in your local courts, and your local laws apply where they give you additional protection. If you live in Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man, nothing in these terms limits your rights under your local consumer laws.
