How do I know whether I need a G4, G9, E14, or B15?

G4 is a low-voltage (12V or 24V) bi-pin with 4mm pin spacing, used in under-cabinet lights, bathroom wet area fittings, and some recessed installations. G9 is a mains-voltage (230V) bi-pin with looped pins, common in kitchen pendants, decorative wall lights, and certain designer fittings. E14 is a small Edison screw for compact candle and pilot applications. B15 is a small bayonet cap serving similar applications to E14 in fittings with bayonet holders.

Remove the existing bulb and check the base type. The four are not interchangeable.

Do mini bulbs dim?

Dimmable and non-dimmable options are available across the range. G9 dimmable models work with a quality trailing-edge LED dimmer LED Light Dimmers. G4 dimmable models require a dimmable driver on the low-voltage circuit. Check individual product listings for dimming compatibility.
