Vintage filament bulbs are the one category where the aesthetic and the performance reinforce each other completely. The exposed LED filament glowing amber through clear glass produces the warmest, most atmospheric quality of light in the Dulora range, and at CRI 90 to 97+ it also renders colours with an accuracy that makes everything around it look better.

Dulora's vintage range spans ST64, G95, G125, and specialty forms in E27 and B22 bases, primarily in Extra Warm 2200K with select models in Warm White 2700K.

All dimmable models work with a quality trailing-edge LED dimmer LED Light Dimmers. For the dedicated Edison collection, see Edison Bulbs. For pendant fittings, see Pendant Lights.

Vintage Bulbs: The Filament Bulb That Earns Its Place

What makes a vintage filament bulb different from a standard LED?

A vintage filament bulb has a visible LED filament inside a clear glass envelope, producing a warm amber glow that is part of the room's aesthetic. Where a standard frosted LED is designed to disappear into a fitting, a vintage filament bulb is designed to be seen. The filament runs as a visible bar, spiral, or multi-loop structure, and at 2200K it produces warm amber light that most people associate with old incandescent quality.

Which vintage bulb form suits my fitting?

ST64 is the classic vintage torpedo shape and the most versatile: it works in bare-bulb pendants, cage fittings, and exposed installations. G95 is rounder and more sculptural, suited to feature pendants and floor lamps. G125 is the statement option for large pendants and high-ceiling spaces.

For fittings where the bulb is hidden behind a shade, a standard GLS delivers the same CRI performance at lower cost. Vintage filament bulbs earn their premium in exposed applications.

Do vintage bulbs work with a dimmer?

Yes, and they benefit from one more than most bulb types. A vintage filament bulb at 10 to 20 per cent on a good dimmer produces a deep amber glow that transforms the atmosphere of a room. All dimmable Dulora vintage bulbs work with a trailing-edge LED dimmer LED Light Dimmers from 1 to 100 per cent without flicker.
