Do I need festoon poles?

Festoon poles are the solution for gardens and outdoor areas where there are no existing mounting points (pergolas, walls, eaves) at the right height for a festoon run. They push into the ground and provide a stable vertical mount at the correct hanging height.

For installations mounting to existing structures, hanging kits with screw-eye hooks and cable clips are typically sufficient.

What connectors and plugs do I need?

Weatherproof end connectors are needed to seal the open end of a festoon string against moisture ingress. Weatherproof inline connectors allow daisy-chaining multiple strings end-to-end.
