The Frosted Effect
The frosted finish sits between clear glass and porcelain: it softens the LED filament array without fully concealing it, creating a gentle, diffused glow across the surface of the bulb. At 40W-equivalent output, the frosted candle produces a warm, settled quality that is easy on the eye in multi-bulb fittings at close range, such as chandeliers, candelabras, and wall sconces where you want consistent, comfortable light from every socket. The frosted glass also makes this candle the better choice inside fabric and paper lampshades, where a clear glass bulb can cast visible filament shadows against the shade material. When switched off, the matte frosted finish gives the bulb a clean, understated appearance that blends into the fitting. A compatible trailing-edge dimmer gives smooth, flicker-free control from full brightness down to a soft, intimate glow.

We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.
Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.
Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.
Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.
Yes, all our LED candles feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), providing "True Colour" light. This ensures that your interior colours, furniture, and fabrics appear rich and accurate, rather than looking dull or greyish as they often do with lower-quality bulbs.

Order arrived quickly to Perth. I made the right choice with the 4W bulbs. The brightness is perfect. 1 bulb didn't work but luckily I had ordered a spare. I may have over tightened it but don't think so. My chandelier holds 11 bulbs. If I used 11 x 40watt incandescent bulbs (which I never did) it would have used 440 watts - more than a big screen tv along with the high temperature and potential fire risk with so many incandescent bulbs. Now the chandelier uses 44 watts total (90% less power consumed) and runs cool. They dim well also. Would recommend this product and I will by another 10 or so for our other chandelier.
